ERCI Meeting at EXPO Ferroviaria

European Railway Clusters Initiative (ERCI) held its regular meeting at EXPO Ferroviaria in Milano, on 2 and 3 October 2019. At the meeting, RCSEE, the newest member of this association, was represented by Dragoljub Rajic and Marko Radovic.

During the fair, a ceremony for ERCI innovation awards 2019 was held on DITECFER stand, handing out three awards from most innovative projects within the ERCI clusters. In the SME category, award was won by D-Rail from Sweden, with its project of continuous infrastructure monitoring. In the category of large companies, award was won by Siemens Mobility for its driverless tram, while the special award of the jury „Coup de Coeur“ was won by Italian company IVM srl for its portable weighter for railway vehicles.

At the ERCI meeting the topics of discussion were the strategy, action plan for 2020 and joint European projects, especially Shift2Rail programme, which is expected to present its new program during December 2019.
