Tatravagonka from Subotica and Proficut from Backi Petrovac to jointly produce wagon components
Tatravagonka bratstvo from Subotica and Proficut company from Backi Petrovac signed a cooperation agreement.
Agreement covers production of wagon components, and signatories state that it is only another step in expansion of their current joint activities.
Two companies that cooperate for five years decided to improve their cooperation. Agreement was reached for Proficut to begin production of subassemblies for wagons made by company from Subotica.
– It means additional employment. You are aware of difficulties of procuring quality workforce and that is why we will invest in training and education of employees, since standards for production of rolling stock are extremely rigorous. A certain level of knowledge and competences is necessary to produce those components – said Ivan Zabunov, director of Proficut.
Due to expansion of production, ten workers will be employed by the end of the year, and in total 30 new employees are expected. Company from Subotica believes it to be a start of long-term cooperation.
– I believe this is a first step toward a long-term cooperation with Proficut. We see great perspective in that company, we see it progressing and I believe that this will not be a short-term cooperation, but rather a stable and long one – said Vladimir Sedlak, director of Tatravagonka bratstvo.
Annual contract is worth approximately 2 mil EUR, but expectations are for it to increase, relative to the increase of production, as the demand exists.
