First Private Railway Terminal Opens in Serbia

Nelt company, regional leader in the field of logistics and distribution, opened the first private railway terminal in Serbia, in its distributive center in Dobanovci.

This first private intermodal terminal in Serbia is open for all market participants in import, export and transit affairs. It is intended to be used by logistics companies, railway operators, forwarders and shipping companies and other distributors.

Terminal is characterized by an excellent location, 6 km away from intersection of highways E-75 and E-70, 10 km away from Nikola Tesla Airport, and railway connection to the Port of Rijeka, as well as other European ports and distribution centers. Terminal possesses a customs office with a warehouse, fully supporting customs affairs.

Current capacity of the distribution center is 400 containers, and the plan is to expand to several thousands. Nelt company has announced plans for additional investment of 10 million in infrastructure.
